About me

Melanie Nazareth graduated with distinction from UCLA’s nationally reputed College Counseling Certificate practicum-based program. She keeps up with research and trends in college admissions through her membership with professional associations and college visits, Melanie enjoys working with her students!

In addition, Melanie has over 15 years of experience in education and entertainment media. She has a MA in English and after earning her MS in Television, Radio, and Film at the renowned S.I Newhouse School of Public Communications, Syracuse University, she was selected as an Outstanding Graduate Intern at the United Nations. She later produced, edited, and wrote documentaries on the World Bank and the UN family for ‘Profiles in Progress’ a documentary series broadcast on Discovery Channel. As a Director of International Sales, she has experience in international TV syndication. Melanie’s career includes account management and business development for online education-based companies. She authored “Can I Have Some Cake Too?” which exemplifies the courage that children with food allergies face daily amidst the love of family and friends.

Melanie’s successful career as an educator, her professional experience with project management, research, strategic planning, her passion for education, and creativity, successfully enable her to help college-bound students and medical school applicants portray their personal journeys through their applications and select a college that will be a right fit for them!


Melanie is also a mother who has gone through the college application process with her children. She draws on her personal experience and understands the tremendous pressures that high school and premed students experience during their college and medical school application process. She is committed to providing nurturing guidance to advise students during this important time in their lives.
