Melanie has attended presentations and visited several colleges including Brown, MIT, Harvard, Boston University, UC Santa Cruz, UC Berkeley, UC San Diego, UC Davis, Carnegie Melon, Johns Hopkins, Georgia Tech, Emory University, Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, Santa Clara University, North Carolina State University, Princeton, Stanford, Johns Hopkins, Duke University, Tufts University and San Jose State University. In addition, she attends NACAC college fairs to learn more about colleges through her conversation with admissions officers. Due to the Covid pandemic and universities opting to give virtual tours, she has attended virtual presentations for the University of Rochester, Case Western Reserve, Southern Methodist University, University of Alabama, University of Tampa, University of Richmond, Columbia College, S. Carolina, Fairmont State University, Liberty University, Regent University, University of Mary Washington, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Washington University at St. Louis, University of Chicago, Cornell, University of Washington, Dartmouth, Drexel, University of Pittsburg, Pomona, U Michigan, University of Pennsylvania and Columbia University.
