Melanie is deeply interested and keeps up daily with current trends that revolve around the college and medical school admissions process through regular webinars and participation in round table discussions. She continuously works on her professional development through her associate membership with the Independent Educational Consultants Association, membership with the National Association for Advisors for the Health Professions (NAAHP), the Western Association for College Admissions Counseling (WACAC) Higher Education Consultants Association (HECA), the National Association for College Admissions Counseling (NACAC) and liaising with local independent educational consultants. She currently serves on IECA’s Allied Health Committee. Melanie is committed to practicing in accordance with these associations and with the NACAC Statement of Principles of Good Practice.
Melanie is also a mother who has gone through the college application process with her children. She draws on her personal experience and understands the tremendous pressures that students experience during the college and medical school application process. She is committed to providing nurturing guidance to advise students during this important time in their lives.
